There is no meaningful, effective outer life without an intentional inner life.
Lasting change in a marriage, a family, or a team rarely begins with a new action. It begins with growing in who we are.
Most books, coaching, and conferences focus on tools, communication scripts, and actions. Those can help. But we have found that lasting transformation rarely begins with doing — it begins with growing in our being.
There is no healthy marriage, no healthy family, no healthy team apart from healthy individuals. So instead of starting with what someone needs from the people around them — which can change week to week — we start by helping each person examine their own emotional and spiritual maturity, their identity in Christ, and their own growth.
Who we believe we are shapes what we value. What we value shapes how we live. We do not start at the outer edge with behavior — we start at the center, and let the change move outward from there.
Joey and Stephanie have been married since 2008. Joey has pastored for 18 years. Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. Together, they teach from Scripture and family systems theory, weaving biblical truth, practical application, and their own experiences into everything they lead.
Joey and Stephanie’s desire is to help improve your family’s or organization’s functioning and effectiveness — but not in the way you think. They want to encourage family and team leaders to grow into more spiritually and emotionally mature people who actually thrive, from the inside out.
One day or two, built for your whole congregation. Biblical teaching, practical application, and our own story — for every couple in the room.
